Facilities and Launderette at Southsea Marina

Southsea Marina Berth Holders have exclusive access to luxury facilities in the main facilities block and the west end facilities. As part of Premier’s ongoing investment project, the main facilities were fully refurbished in the summer of 2015 and include seven modern cubicles, a family room and provision for disabled access. Each cubicle is self-contained and includes a modern shower, toilet and basin.

The west end facilities underwent an £81,000 rebuild in early 2018 to offer the same high quality across all of Southsea Marina’s services; now featuring four luxury WC cubicles with hand basins and an enlarged and improved laundrette. These facilities are only accessible to berth holders using their Premier Marinas Key Fob. In addition to the Berth Holder facilities, there are separate public toilets available at Southsea Marina above the Marina Bar Café.

Southsea Marina has a 24-hour on-site launderette located opposite the entrance to G pontoon. There are  money operated washing and drying machines, which accept £1 coins and 20 pence coins to operate, plus an ironing board. Change is available from the Marina Reception.

Premier Marinas invested £25,000 in July 2019 to refurbish the Marina Reception, including a stylish and sociable seating area for berth holders. This comfortable seating area is a space designed for berth holders to relax, enjoy complimentary refreshments and socialise together and with the marina team.

In April 2020, Premier signed a new contract with Veolia to improve waste management and recycling across all Premier sites. There are dedicated bins for general waste and recycling in situ across the marina, with clear signage to identify and encourage more recycling across Southsea Marina. You can read a helpful guide to waste management at Southsea Marina here and you can read more about Premier Marinas’ steps to creating a more sustainable waterside here.
